Australian Red Cross Lifeblood
Lifeblood help donors give life — and recipients get it. Lifeblood work together, across the nation, with donors, communities and health providers. Lifeblood’s purpose: Life-giving donations for life-changing outcomes.
Lifeblood has been one of the most trusted not-for-profit health service providers in Australia for over 90 years — for good reason. Did you know over 1.6 million individual donations were made in the past year? Blood and plasma donations are truly life-saving, but there’s more to Lifeblood than blood and plasma. Lifeblood is expanding their network so premature babies in Australia have access to a safe and reliable supply of breast milk; supports DonateLife in matching organs to patients; supports the Australian Bone Marrow Donor Registry to match donors to patients; and are running a program to provide life-changing faecal microbiota transplants.
