Professor Peter Rendell

 

Memory Disorder Lead

Professor Peter Rendell is a globally recognised leader in research involving cognitive ageing, and particularly prospective memory (remembering to do things in the future like taking medication and remembering to attend appointments). His research also looks at memory and social cognition in clinical groups that include autism spectrum disorders, chronic heart failure and substance use. He has published over 100 original articles cited more than 2500 times. Over the course of his career, he has attracted over $7 million in funding, including five Australian Research Council Grants.   Prof. Rendell has been a visiting researcher at many universities in Canada, UK, USA, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Poland and Japan, and recently hosted the International Conference on Prospective Memory.   His research website can be found at: http://ccaer.acu.edu.au
