Dr. Matthew Nangle

Oral Health Lead

Dr Matthew Nangle is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry, serving on its Academic Leadership team as External Engagement Coordinator. In addition, he is the Phase 1 Program Coordinator, overseeing the academic activities of the first two years of the five year undergraduate BDSc(Hons) degree. He is also President of the Australian Dental Association Queensland branch, the peak professional body for dentistry in Queensland, serving on its Board of Directors since 2017. Dr Nangle has published more than 35 peer-reviewed articles in medical sciences, and has received research funding from Hospital and Health Services in Queensland and NSW, as well as from the National Health and Medical Research Council. He has Fellowships from the Royal Society of Biology (UK) and Pierre Fauchard Academy (US).
