Associate Professor Jessica Taubert
Social Neuroscience and Systems Neuroscience Lead
A/Prof Taubert is an Australian Research Council Future Fellow in the School of Psychology at the University of Queensland. The main goal of her research is to identify the mechanisms underlying social cognition and emotional intelligence in the primate brain. In service to this goal, A/Prof Taubert has led large-scale interdisciplinary projects, combining state-of-the-art methods including psychophysics and behavioural measures, eye-tracking, functional neuroimaging, single neuron recordings, micro-stimulation, selective excitotoxic lesions, pharmacological suppression, and magnetoencephalography. She has published over 45 articles in peer-reviewed journals and is committed to building and maintaining a world-class research environment that fosters diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
