Hongfeng (Mike) Xia

Mike is a PhD student at the University of Queensland in the School of Psychology. He plans to better understand the potential limits and boundaries of harnessing virtual reality to improve emotional well-being, with a particular focus on a VR-based self-compassion intervention.  Mike already has impressive expertise in electromyography and eye tracking, which he also hopes to draw on during his PhD.
